Through daily two-way Mandarin immersion, students gain the confidence and fluency to think, communicate, and thrive in multiple languages.
At Shu Ren International School, Mandarin is more than a language. It is a gateway to connection, culture, and opportunity. Since 2008, we have been one of the few schools in the United States to offer a true Mandarin immersion education within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
Our students don’t just learn Mandarin. They learn through Mandarin. Every day, children are immersed in a bilingual environment where Mandarin and English come together naturally, helping them develop fluency, cultural literacy, and the confidence to engage with a rapidly changing world.

To cap off their elementary school journey, our fifth grade students travel to China, where they bring their language learning to life and deepen their connection to the culture before moving on to middle school.
