Jin Wei

Grade 2 Chinese Teacher

Originally from Shanghai, China, Jin has devoted her career to teaching Chinese in IB schools. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and brings more than 20 years of teaching experience to her work. She is passionate about sharing the beauty and depth of the Chinese language, culture, and history. Now in her third year at Shu Ren, Jin feels grateful to be part of such a caring and diverse school community. She is married and a proud mother—her son studies Computer Science and Mathematics at Northwestern University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
