Kindergarten Chinese Teacher Assistant

Leng Laoshi brings more than 30 years of teaching experience in China and the United States. She earned her BA from Beijing Normal University and began her teaching career in China, where she taught at Hunan University of Science & Technology and Hunan University. After moving to the United States, she taught Mandarin to students in Grades 6–12, including AP Chinese, and supported Mandarin instruction in Grades K–8. A licensed teacher since 1996, Leng Laoshi is now in her fifth year at Shu Ren International School, where she has primarily supported students as a teaching assistant in kindergarten and first grade. She is passionate about helping children learn and grow and enjoys spending her free time listening to music, exploring good food, and hiking.
